    This year, the YMCA begins a year-long celebration of 175 years of strengthening communities across the United States. From our earliest days to today, the Y has been where strangers become friends, families find support, and every generation belongs.     This month, more than 400 YMCA advocates from across the country came together in Washington, D.C. to share their stories of impact with Members of Congress. But you don’t have to be in Washington to make a difference. By joining the YMCA Action Network, you can add your voice and urge Congress to support the Y’s top legislative priorities for 2026. When you advocate with the Y, you help drive meaningful, lasting change for your family, friends, and community.
